Brown Grease Recycling

Using a proprietary process, the company will build and operate brown grease recycling facilities located initially throughout Central Florida. Each plant has an annual capacity of 13 million gallons of brown grease collected by waste haulers such as Darling International and other local service providers serving the hospitality and food service industries. We are the only company in the State of Florida with the technology to successfully separate the grease, clean the effluent and remove the solids.

Products

The company’s products are derived directly from recycled brown grease.  These products are bio feedstock (used in the production of biodiesel), a soil additive sold under our brand name, Sling Shot and water which is sold to farming operations, golf courses and municipalities due to its high nutrient content.   Each plant has the ability to produce 650,000 gallons of biofuel annually.  We currently have commitments from buyers for over 4.5 million gallons of bio fuel per year. Each plant also can produce 650,000 pounds of organics which forms our Sling Shot soil additive.  We are currently investigating other uses for the organic solids produced in our recycling activities (such as animal feed), that has the potential to bring a much higher market price. Each plant can produce over 11 million gallons of nutrient rich water annually, a product which has a variety of agricultural applications and a robust market.

Innovation

Bill Freeman, the company’s president and chief executive officer, began to research various methods of removing grease from brown grease in [date] as the owner of Florida Bio Diesel. Realizing the effects of skyrocketing cost of bio feedstock prices on his bottom line, Mr. Freeman set out to develop a process of producing affordable bio feedstock. At the time research on utilizing brown grease as a feedstock source was nonexistent, and Mr. Freeman began searching for methods to remove brown grease from grease trap and sanitary sewer waste.

Through a process of trial and error, Mr. Freeman developed a state of the art process for the recycling of brown grease. All equipment needed for the company’s proprietary process is commercially available and the company owns all of the intellectual property necessary to construct and operate its brown grease recycling facilities.
